After Your Initial Inquiry
After you've reached out, we'll pick a date that works for you, ensuring you don't have any commitments and can respond and give feedback quickly on the VIP week. We'll send you a client portal containing your contract, website copy form and invoice—everything you need to get started.
Homework
In your client portal, you'll find a detailed Website Copy Planner. This is as much for your benefit as it is for mine—it's an opportunity to dive deep into what you want on your website. It's full of helpful prompts to get those words flowing and more practical aspects like testimonials and your process. You can work on this homework gradually leading up to the VIP week and submit it to us one week before.
The VIP week
Our schedule includes SEO research and website copywriting on Monday, homepage design for feedback on Tuesday, full website build on Wednesday, revisions and final tweaks on Thursday and Friday, and website transfer to your account on Friday, with a launch process that can take 1-2 weeks.
Launch Process
Although you receive your website in your account the end of the week, the launch process takes 1-2 weeks. Once your website is in your account, we record a tutorial walking you through your site so you can update images, text, and make any final tweaks you want. When you've given the go-ahead, we'll connect your domain, set up your blog, and handle all the technical aspects of getting your website live.

i already get a lot of google traffic, will moving my website hurt it?
When moving to a new website provider, it's best to prepare for a temporary drop in SEO. This is a normal part of the process when making significant changes to your site. However, you can minimize the impact by preserving your URL structure, setting up 301 redirects, updating internal links, and informing search engines about the move. Our SEO experts can assist with the migration for complex situations or if you're unsure about the process, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing any potential negative impact.
what about timezones?
can you work with a template I already have?
No, we don't. You can send it our way as inspiration, along with any other designs that resonate with you. However, working with a previously built template can often hinder your site more than help it. If you're paying for a custom design, don't allow yourself to be boxed in. We'll try to create something even better than anything you already love.
Our main client base is in the US, so we are not strangers to time zones. We know that clients might not be able to respond to their website feedback until the evening, which is perfect for us. We'll hop onto those changes first thing in the morning.
what if I can't give quick feedback on the VIP WEEK?
Because of our unique way of working, we only work on one project at a time, meaning you get our full attention for that day or week. But that does mean that once that allotted time frame is over, we will be busy working on someone else's project. You must give us feedback within the required time frame. If something comes up or life happens, let us know, and we'll see when we can re-schedule.
Can I request a quote if a package doesn't fit my needs?
Absolutely, our packages are built an entry-level to work with us then we can add on extras to expand the package to your needs. We can add extra illustrations, merch designs, packaging, you name it.
Can I book branding now and come back for a website later?
Absolutely! As long as we have worked on your brand and have all those files in our system you can come back and book additional services or a website in a day project at any time!
What do I need before the day?
When you book in with us, you'll have some homework bits to complete before our day together such as questionnaires, and mood boards. We need these pieces completed ONE WEEK before the Intensive to allow us enough time to prep for your project and get previews sent your way before the day together. We book months in advance, however, so you’ll always have plenty of time to complete these.
How soon can we get started?
We only have a limited amount of projects available each month. Since we only have limited spots they tend to get booked up fast, so to ensure you don't miss out on your project we would recommend inquiring and getting booked in as soon as possible. Even if you're not ready for a few months, it's better to secure your spot in advance.
how do payment plans work?
We offer up to a 3-month payment plan for branding and a 6-month brand + web bundle plan, making the investment more flexible and affordable. However, the project does need to be paid in full before the project VIP day, so bear that in mind when choosing your date. For example, if you want to use a 6-month plan, your project must be booked 6 months in advance. If you want your project in two months, the payment will be split into two. We don't book further than 6 months in advance. Example, if Booking in on January, wanting a 3-month plan, your project would be booked in for March - April (depending on availability)
do you do consultation calls or zoom calls during the process?
Unfortunately, no. We are UK-based, but most of our clients are based in the US & Canada. We love working with creatives all over the world. To ensure work-life balance, we don't do calls or meetings during our process. We're huge advocates for respecting your peace, ensuring we can still get our evenings together as a family. However, we know how important it is to communicate well during the project. That's why we're open to chatting via voice notes on Instagram and happy to answer any questions via email. Before the project, we do a 'pre-recorded' consultation video, going over our thoughts and ideas so that we can get on the same page. We always encourage clients to use Loom or Vimeo to record their own videos to give us further insight into revisions or ideas if they wish. And we ask for clients' feedback every step of the way; it's a truly collaborative process. If you have any concerns, feel free to ask us for more info.
